Eliminate Spot Welding and Manual Installation of Slip-On Flanges by Roll Forming Your Own

SMACNA Certified Transverse Duct Connector TDC (T25A) and Transverse Duct Flange TDF (T25B) Roll Formers from Mestek Machinery

For today’s HVAC duct fabrication contractors, installing slip-on flange connectors is manual process that adds unnecessary material and labor cost to your operation. With Transverse Duct Connector (TDC) Roll Formers from Lockformer and Transverse Duct Flange (TDF) Roll Formers from Engel, you can roll form your own sealable flanges on transverse duct joints during the fabrication process making that added cost of slip-on flange a thing of the past.

Our TDC and TDF roll formers produce the flange on the machine’s left-hand auxiliary eliminating the need for screws, C-clamps, and drills. The flange also has unique, snap-in corners that eliminate spot welding and manual flange installation labor. There is no functional criteria difference between the TDC and the TDF flange and both meet the SMACNA T25A and T25B requirements. The only difference between the two profiles is that the TDC hem on the flange is on the outside while the TDF hem is on the inside.

Schedule a no obligation, 1-on-1 Consultation with a Mestek Machinery Technical Specialist today and let’s discuss how the our TDC and TDF Roll Formers can eliminate the added costs of slip-on flange and maximize the productivity and profitability of your operation.

Formed flanges are considered standard and compliant by SMACNA. Our TDC and TDF roll formers are the only transverse duct connector machines on the market certified to comply with SMACNA Duct Construction Standard (DCS) T-25a and T-25b (respectively) based on actual laboratory tests across the full range of water gauges.
