Iowa Precision EZ Connector HVAC Duct Connection System

The Iowa Precision EZ Connector HVAC Duct Connection System is part of the revolutionary EZ Connection and Hanging System from Iowa Precision. The innovative EZ Connector System allows contractors to make duct joints with a super-fast locking bolt using a power drill saving up to 50% on installation costs in duct joint construction work. The system is comprised of two (2) distinct components — EZ Connector Bolts and EZ Connector Corners — whose success is enabled by the increased clamping force that uses the strength of the duct assembly wall panes and integral flanges in combination with each other.

• EZ Connector Bolts
  • Replaces 3/8″ carriage bolt, washer and nut at the four corner connections
  • Superior to standard 3/8″ carriage bolts
  • Washer built into “extra high” EZ drive head
  • No need to use nuts
  • Fewer small-part items to drop or lose
  • Pilots and drives to significantly reduce or eliminate use of drift-pin and clamps for corner alignment
  • Spin-out feature prevents over-torquing and reduces damage to gaskets (leakage at corner reduced)
  • 1-1/2″ long version available for heavier gauge, unique location, special fitting applications
  • 1″ hollowed “auger” version available to cut through flanges up to 16 gauge if you are not punching through holes *
  • Optional “Mag-Socket” is a specially designed 3/8″ drive extension and socket with a built-in magnet that keeps the EZ Connector bolts securely in place during assembly
